Every evening I write down ten things that defined my day. I try to capture the good and the bad, things that I am grateful for, things that I am looking forward to, and what I do that day just for me, I really just write the little details that made that day different from others. I enjoy it and it works for me. Here’s some things pulled from various days over the past week:
- my sister introduced me to WordleBot- this could be addictive
- Took knitting lesson- which was a learning experience in many ways
- Woke up saturday morning to a huge messy hair ball on my pillow right nest to my shoulder
- When I was washing hair bally sheets, the washing machine broke during spin cycle- two hours to dry my clothes
- I used to buy my drug store brand cosmetics from Bed Bath and Beyond- bummed they aren’t selling them anymore
- thought to ponder- do we hate things that are “nice”
- When doing wordle i came up with the word pooka before I thought of polka…
- Forgot to bring poop bag on dog walk. After betty did her business, i was trying to find something to clean up with. I looked up and there was a newly installed box from a local vet containing poop bags! huzzah!
- I bought eye shadow from Sephora. When I got home I realized that it was used. The sales clerk when I exchanged it was less than stellar at customer service
- Happy with my subplots for my novel
Buildings fall; even the earth perishes. What was yesterday a cornfield is today a bungalow. But words, if properly used, seem able to live forever. Virginia Woolf
This was a diverse week for “ten things”. Love it!

Love the strange words we think of for wordle before the obvious one strikes us! Happy Saturday, LA!

“Happy with my subplots for my novel.” Yes, yes, yes, now who am I to talk, I’ve never published a book . . . but I think that’s a huge key. Everyone has a great idea for the main plot. The books that work in my opinion are the ones that manage to keep your attention and lay out the rest of the story in a way that draws you deeper and deeper. Good for you!

I didn’t realize how important sub plots were until my instructor talked about them…they can make a novel..of course they can also break them

The good, the bad, the ugly…and the not so good that turned into a blessing! (And I have to wonder if the Sephora clerk would have wanted the used shadow on her eyelid.)

We need to see, accept and acknowledge the bad as well as the good. We grow from the bad by being resilient and pushing forward

Yay on Wordle. 3… I think someone opened the package and damaged it. Chalk up another issue…

Another busy day for you, but you got through. A good sign.
Wordle was created by people who drive addiction. It has become a daily habit of mine. But I did get Polka in three tries.

Fascinating insight into a world of cosmetics, washing machines and hair. I don’t to be honest, miss any of them. 🙂

I was just considering a trip to Sephora – shame about your experience. That Virginia Woolf quote is great.

LOL on pooka. I got polka in 3, I was happy.
Oh gosh on the eye shadow! And then the less than stellar customer service. Ugh!

Polka is practically a rite of passage in Wisconsin. No wonder I had no problems nailing that Wordle quickly!
