Tea at Crosby Hotel with my tea society and my lousy photo editing. The scones were the winner as they came to the table warm. Iron skillet tacos from Besita in Huntington on Long Island. It was cheesy and yummy.Met Galleries 680-684. The instruments are beautiful, and a great reminder of what music means to history and society. The piano is the oldest surviving piano. thought that was cool. The last shot is the view of armor from the music gallery. Met Museum; Ganesha- special exhibit. I thought this was a small but interesting exhibit. My daughter and I always see a Christmas themed show- this year was Darren Criss, who my daughter has followed since his days on Glee- fun show. The other picture is my dog and cat- thought what you might not realize is that I am under the blanket that they are both sitting on. This is probably why I don’t lay on the couch and read on a regular basis…
I love the instruments! I wonder how many of them are still playable, and what they would sound like if someone made music with them. The piano reminds me of the harpsichord I got to play for a piano recital when I was ten or so. Somehow, it was more fun to play than a piano. It was probably just the novelty of it all.
Cute! My daughter was gifted tickets to see “Frozen” at the Orpheum Theater so we went and had a great time. Isn’t it nice that they still like to do stuff with us?
We have MIM, the Musical Instrument Museum in Scottsdale. It’s one of my favorite places to spend time. Also, I like to read on the sofa with my cat laying on me. It’s what happens in the afternoons on a daily basis.
I think your tea society and the opportunities for fancy teas in NYC are outstanding. I don’t know if you realize what a privilege that is, but I am jealous.
What I don’t understand is how a musical instrument can be a thing of beauty to the ears and so beautiful visually as well. Those instruments are works of art!
Love the piano photo!

I was kinda thinking “A Very Darren Christmas” might have something to do with “Bewitched,” but apparently not…
