- Saw The Minutes on Broadway- very well written play about history and how we interpret it. Great piece of work to start conversations.
- Singapura is a Singaporean street food inspired restaurant with the most delicious food. Loved the roti filled with beef, onions, and peppers with a spicy dipping sauce.
- Yes…it’s spring in New York…and I’m thrilled about the flowers, even though we’ve had some April showers…
- Gallery 206 at the Met starts the journey through China- some really gorgeous pieces…
If you don’t want the rain, I’ll take it. We’ve been having wildfires because it’s been so dry. The air was so smoky last night that I couldn’t stand to be outside for more than a few minutes.
That little wine part is gorgeous!

Love the pictures. Had to zoom in to read about the wine pot. I love old stuff. Amazing that these pieces have lasted so long. I’m so glad they’re being preserved in a museum. Thanks for sharing!

I have never had any Singaporean food of any type. It looks wonderful. You are blessed to have so many adventurous food choices.

It’s really delicious. I’d say it’s like a cross between Thai and Sri Lankan

I love Thai and have never had an opportunity to try food from Sri Lanka. You may not realize it, but NYC has a lot of restaurant choices compared to suburban/rural America. I still prefer to live in the rural mountains and in suburbia, but I think your culinary adventures are outstanding.

Honestly, I don’t know where immigrants end up, so I don’t want to assume people haven’t tried something. To be fair…there aren’t that many Sri Lankan places here either, and my favorite one closed

Seeing Betty in her everyday ‘waiting for the elevator’ pose puts your/her NYC lifestyle in clear perspective for this non-New Yorker!
My mouth also is watering as per Book Club Mom’s comment!
