I told you that my husband hurt his calf while skiing…
It was a bit of a story as to getting him a Doctor appointment, which I will go through at a later date…
Suffice to say:
I am grateful that my husband got a Doctor appointment this week. I am grateful his tear appears fairly mild- two weeks in a walking boot and then a bit of physical therapy.

Great news! So glad it’s not worse.

I’m thankful that he was able to get an appointment (even if there is a story to go with it), and that he is still mobile. One of those things we don’t fully appreciate until it’s gone.

So glad your hubby was able to see a doctor and that his injury is not more serious – small blessings there. Yes, gratitude makes such a huge difference in life.

All good news. I too choose to be grateful but now and then do forget but then am grateful when I remember. (Not as convoluted as it sounds I think) Chris

Thanks!! He said it feels much better. He didn’t use the boot this weekend but we were away and barely walked at all (wedding and all related activities!)

One thing I’ve learned with injuries like that is to do what the doctor tells you to do, even if it feels better! Trust me on that one! I didn’t and it’s still bothering me 4 years later. I don’t heal as fast! I’m glad he’s doing good!
