I make really varied and weird playlists, because I will hear a random song and toss it on the list, with really no meaning as to why other than it moved me in some way. When you have this scattered attitude, you can wind up with literally anything.
The things that have been my favorites over the past month include:
- The soundtrack from the movie Belfast– which is lots of Van Morrison and just wonderful
- Mad Rush by Philip Glass performed by Simone Dinnerstein (which I saw her perform live last week at Carnegie Hall)
- Adele 30
- For Your Love Maneskin
- Head Up The Score
- Only Love Can Save me Now The Pretty Reckless
- Heavy is the Crown Daughtry
- Nothing Can Change you Goo Goo Dolls
- Hello It’s Me Todd Rundgren
- Here’s to Moving On Dashboard Confessional
I may be the only person on earth to say this, but I don’t have a play list. 🤷♀️

I like it because I’m sort of nuts about things being a certain way, but I totally get just putting on something you’re in the mood for

Me either! And I’m a musician!

I only have 1 playlist on Spotify and that’s my Christmas playlist. All of my others I just marked as liked and play them on shuffle.
I love Daughtry and Adele. I need to listen to her new album. I’ve heard some of the new songs but not all of them.

I don’t like the new Adele as much as some others…however…her voice still gets me every time…

I just finished listening to it. I did find some new ones I like but this album wasn’t my favorite of hers.

I don’t like the talking…

I thought it was a nice addition and you kind of get to know what frame of mind she was in on some of the songs but I agree some of them had to much talking.

I have a lot of borrowed Spotify playlists and then my major favorites on one huge loop. It was too hard trying to focus on particular songs when I saw the prompt last night, what with Luca doing all the things all the time so I just said nope to that one.

I used to do a new playlist every week, but I got bored with that. Now I’ll listen to a pre made list and then add songs I like to one of five playlists that I have. This is working for me now…but I’m always a work in progress

I just use random selection on my iTunes most of the time although I have been listening to Spotify a lot lately, Classic oldies, the 60’s, the Rat Pack and Dean Martin. I love Daughtry but haven’t heard much of his new album yet. Would love to see him again if we get the chance. Ditto Adele.

He’s playing around here, but not close enough for me to get to

Oh, boy. I obsess over music and currently have…let’s see…24 playlists on Spotify. Pretty sure my friends are ready to stage an intervention.
The fact that you have Goo Goo Dolls on there makes me very happy.

Love them! I used to do weekly playlists…but then I stopped obsessing so much over playlists!

I rarely make playlists though…i have a hell of a lot of different kinds of music, more of a random play my tunes kind of guy these days. But in one sitting you could get Steppenwolf, NG Head, Gorrillaz, Tom Tom Club, Bobbie Gentry, Wu-Tang Clan & Cyndi Lauper.

I don’t usually make playlists. Sometimes I listen to the ones Apple music creates for me. 😉 But the current top contenders are James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Taylor Swift, Need to Breathe, and the Hamilton soundtrack.

I set up a couple of playlists on my iTunes, but that’s all out of date now. I’ve been pondering what to do about that for some time now, as I’m determined not to have a subscription service. Not that I’ve put any time into working out my options. All that aside, I’m soooo looking forward to seeing ‘Belfast’ and the sound track sounds right up my street (being a Van the man fan).
