  1. I think it’s because she loves you and wants to be with you. So when you leave the room she finds you. Cats do the same thing. They pretend NOT to like you until you leave to use the bathroom. Then they can’t fake it anymore and follow you to the potty purring and rubbing against your legs. No more pretending to be aloof! 🙀😻Gotcha kitty. You like me, you really like !

  2. Hahaha! I could take this in so many different directions. I’ll choose to stay with Lesley’s answer just to be safe. I think what would be even more mysterious is if your cat did the same!

  3. LA,
Bud follows me around the house, too. I taught him a long time ago that I want my privacy in the bathroom, so smart dog that he is, he waits for me just outside the door. Having Bud around is much like having a body guard only better! So glad he’s with us, even when he’s barking his head off, which is often. I’d say that because dogs are pack animals, your dog, as mine, has adopted you as part of his pack! Isn’t it good to be included in that club!

  4. I heard somewhere that it’s because they consider you a member of their pack and going to the bathroom puts you in a vulnerable position, so they are protecting you. I’m not sure if this is true or not, but it’s a lovely thought.
