Ok- so I decided to try the podcast feature that WordPress has added in cooperation with anchor. My thought is that I will post a blog in the morning and in the evening or thereabouts, I will record my blog and add in anything interesting that came up in the discussion. If you have any thoughts or ideas of things that you want to here me talk about, please chime in.
I liked to listen to your voice. It sounds very nice. Your voice sounds just like I imagined it would. 🤗

Love the podcast format. I listened yesterday after you mentioned it and was hoping you might expand on it a bit with commentary and such. I always read you in the mornings so now a follow up option will be fun to check later rather than necessarily going back to read all the comments.

Thank you for the feedback! I thought it would be fun to discover what I learned after I wrote and posted, because I always get such fabulous insights from everyone and things I’ve never thought about. Figured it could add a layer.

I always learn so much from you LA! What’s Anchor? Where do I find your podcast? Please help! 🙂 Thanks! I’m sooo inspired by you! And you’ve done so much in one week! Good for you!

Anchor is a new collaboration with WordPress. You can turn any blog into a podcast. Do you have Spotify?

I don’t have Spotify. But I did see in my email about Anchor. I guess I hadn’t read that email but not sure how it works. More research when I get a chance…can’t wait to check out yours! 🙂

Nice post! Those hand-pulled noodles look delicious and I can imagine how good it felt to buy tickets for the Van Gogh exhibit. I can feel your excitement ☺

Just read the comments – never thought “elegant” would be applied to the voice of a New Yorker. Might be worth persevering with my computer’s sound just to hear that! 🙂
Fireman mural is superb.
The sock puller looks worryingly complex. I may carry on sitting on the bed to do my socks for the moment, but thank you for letting me know about it – nice to know I have a system in reserve. 🙂

We all need a plan b…… I thought the mural was amazing! Glad you liked it! And trust me, Kathryn Hepburn I ain’t….

That would be a good plot – the blog comments passing between a man who has trouble putting on his socks and a deceased screen legend (who did her best work later in life – so you never know).
When the fat man tells her thought she was great in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, all sorts of paranormal consequences ensue…

We have to get working on this before someone scoops us

We still have to do the one about the worldwide plot to take our bodies with covid vaccine…

Fusilli and pulled noodles look awesome. I was wondering about that show, Mank. Hmmm. Might have to check that out. Looking forward to your podcast. Have a great week, LA.

The pulled noodles were awesome. I don’t know if you could see in picture but they give you scissors to cut them. And seriously- I can’t believe I haven’t been making homemade pasta my whole life

No, I couldn’t make that out. Wow, that increases the awesomeness. 🙂 I’ve been doing more baking lately, and you are inspiring me to make some homemade pasta. Coming up…

What a feast for the eyes!! All kinds of interesting things in your post today! I love all the artwork ….the side of that building and in that gallery (too bad, though, that you couldn’t get in). Food looks delish. I’ve also been watching Miss Scarlet and the Duke….love it.

I LOVE THIS. I will have to investigate this podcast option. I don’t use the app as much as I should. But I love being able to listen to you. I was listening while I was editing my manuscript and it was like you were working with me! 🙂

Omg I’m so happy you said that! My blog buddy Tater tried it and I listened to it while I cooked and I admit it was really nice to hear it! I’m still exploring what I can do with it, but I figured I’d jump,in and learn as I go. Didn’t want to overthink it

Hand-made noodles always seemed (in my mind, not from experience) to be more work than they are worth. You seem to be a fan. Maybe I need to rethink my conclusion.

I used to think that too, but honestly, the dough is super easy to make in the mixer, and I use machines to actually shape them. But I like cooking and it’s been a fun pandemic hobby. And I definitely think the taste is superior to boxed
