Lombardi’s and Shake Shack. Two of my favorite places. It’s been years since I’ve been to Lombardi’s. We started going to Grimaldi’s in Brooklyn every time we were in town
I always really enjoy looking at your photos……so interesting and intriguing; always something new going on in your neighborhood, it appears. Your kitty and dog are adorable and that food looks delicious and reminds me that I haven’t eaten yet!! LoL. Thanks so much for sharing. 🙂
It’s too early in the day for me to wrestle with your Math question (it’s 8:30 a.m. atm). I need sufficient caffeine, which I have yet to consume. I love the photos of your fur babies. So cute! Happy Valentine’s Day!
Love the photos! As for math, I’m not a fan…but that’s not racist. It’s just that I’m more into language than mathematical thinking…right brain/left brain…know what I mean? Happy Valentine’s Day to you LA!
Same thing. It’s cute, and we went for a valentines special thing that our daughter gave us as a gift, but honestly I think it’s better for kids who love taking Instagram pictures…the rooms are perfect for that
Thanks for the cuteness overload with puppy and kitty. I wouldn’t think Math was racist, but it is not my thing so I can’t begin to wrap my mind around your thinking on that question, plus I have a headache.
I thought it was good, not great. I like the way Hannah sets a scene. I felt the atmosphere of the physical locations…and I could hear the wind and taste the dust. I love how she creates female characters…they are multi dimensional and real. I’m not crazy about her male characters…I find they fall flat. Some of her language/descriptions are repetitive…she will repeat the same phrasing in different sections, but it’s not done in a literary, with purpose way, it’s more like…in case you forgot. I found this annoying. On the whole I’d say it’s worth the read.
I read about Oregon’s retraining middle school teachers to not be racist in teaching math. I have thoughts about that, for sure, but I won’t steal your thunder and will hold them until Friday!
Friday I’m going to discuss this. I heard something as I was writing my Sunday post but didn’t have time to read into it so I figured I’d toss out the question….

Lombardi’s was geographically desirable to the ice cream museum. But I love both!

Only if for someone, the numbers don’t add up cause as we all know it is about you, y’know not you, just using ‘you.’ Have a great Sunday.

I just saw that San Francisco has an Ice Cream Museum too. It is not open now but I may have to check into it for future reference.

Cool pictures, except for that pudding. 😉
Like most topics to which the hot-button issue of racism is applied, it is not the subject that is racist but how said subject is handled…

Tune in Friday for the thought topic.

That’s exactly what I’m going to talk about….so I look forward to your thoughts. I’m going to zero in on the aspect I find most troubling

The only way Math could be racist is if written as such in a word problem. I can’t see how numbers themselves are racist ?

Oh I just looked into it, fascinating. Not Mathematics itself but how the solution is derived.
