  1. Oh I love those prisms! We had a crate for our dog but my hubby was violently opposed so the crate is now on the back porch, fitted with warm coverings for the neighborhood cat who things we own him. Your questions are interesting ones.

  2. Your pets are just too adorable! LOL! On her being on top of the crate. 🙂
    The sandwich tingled my tastebuds.
I cannot think of anything more ridiculous than saying Awoman! When you think you have heard it all!

  3. your poll on gender neutrality didn’t completely show up. But I’ll weigh in. Pelosi is an idiot and anyone in office that follows the ideology of ridding the world of the use of he, she, mom, dad, uncle, aunt, grandparent for the sole purpose of catering to the trans community is just ridiculous. About as inane as Pastor Cleaver including Awomen.

    1. I can’t help but wonder if this is the most important issue we face as a country so it must be dealt with first? Or is it to have a win so they can say we accomplished this? I want to know why they made this the first thing they’re doing

  4. My husband and I haven’t exchanged Valentines gifts (or Christmas, or birthdays) for a long time. I may have to make an exception for those roaches…

As far as I was able to read about it, the use of “awomen” was a joke (he was a pastor, after all, and knows the origin of the word). The only people talking about it are those who love to get their panties in a wad. It seems that we love to careen from outrage to outrage.

    1. While I think it was a joke, so many want to change language for inclusivity, I’m not really sure anymore. There is a call to change history to herstory. I’ve read people wanting to change menstruation to womenstruation. Honestly I don’t doubt anything anymore that will further divide us

      1. I think practical and realistic have vanished. it’s like congress changing the language. While I understand why they want to do it, is it the most important thing to devote time energy and resources to? Are there other problems affecting more people that would be better off working on? Or is this a just a quick win to say they did something? Is it practical to fix this before anything else?
