I admit my daughters professors are doing the best they can given the circumstances. However, we are paying a lot of money and not getting what we are paying for, even with a 10% tuition cut. My daughter has a special sociology class that is completely diluted due to limitations with it being online. I am not happy
I read of one school raising their tuition. At least your daughter is at home and not being charged for being confined to a room, unable to socialize, and receiving meals at specified times. People are locked into contracts for tuition and housing and stuck with charges for classes that as you point out are substandard.
So.Much.Italian.Goodness… I can almost smell the garlic. ☺️ Honestly, I could eat pasta every night for dinner- with crusty bread and salad sprinkled with parmesan and red wine..and then just roll myself (not the forward roll, the side kind of roll) until I hit the sofa..reach up for the clicker and just watch Netflix from my position on the floor until I fall asleep. That sounds so amazing to me.
Homemade ‘anytype’ of ice cream is the best! And how clever to make your own “Dreamsicle” (that’s what we called them in Chicago as a kid growing up in the 60’s). Yum! Yeah, I know there’s that Chicago/New York thing. 🙂
And that 11th commandment is to die for (ahem, weirdly punny) BTW: may I download that photo and maybe share it?
Oh and, kitties are star and center for sure. Have a great rest of your Sunday.
Besides being a talented writer, you are a talented photographer. You have a great way of capturing every day scenes and making them interesting, or mouth watering, as the case may be 🙂
The gnocchi looks amazing. I also think the outdoor dining area looks quite inviting. I went on a first date with a man who ordered gnocchi and we had lots of leftovers. His gnocchi ended up in my bag and the next morning I woke up to a text that said, “You have my nookie” 😂 which was a hilarious autocorrect error, but I can’t see it and not go back to that text. I don’t remember the guy anymore, just the misspelling. 🤷🏼♀️
Fun pictures! My hair gal came to me house and cut my hair in our backyard. I think I’d feel really uncomfortable doing that on the sidewalk… but I’m so glad they are finding ways to stay afloat. And, speaking of floats… that creamsicle looks amazing!
Ok….I’m checking my own comment box…

Definitely this semester. If it continues to next semester she’s either taking a leave of absence or part time

I just read today a compilation of parents responses to what colleges across the nation are “offering” to their students. It is disgraceful.
