I went to dinner last night in Brooklyn…I forgot to take food pics, but I did catch this on the way to the restaurant
New York Bortanic Garden orchid show
NYBG orchid show

Hitchcock festival at Film Forum (and of course someone actually asked me why I was taking a picture of this…but not in a fun inquisitive way, but in a hostile nasty way)
Dinner at Banty Rooster- how do you not try a restaurant named Banty Rooster? Chicken skins and chile foccacia- and no tablecloth to match my husband
Seen somewhere in Manhattan
As seen at a pre school/day care
NYBG orchid show
My sweetie

I’m always amazed at how good some people are at minding business that isn’t their own business. Why does this person CARE if you’re taking a pic? Wow.
I volunteer at the all-volunteer local movie theater and it was this weekend’s movie. I never would have chosen to see this. It was worse than anyone could have imagined.
Lovely orchid shots! I looks like you had a wonderful week. Don’t get discouraged with the haters….haters just have to hate. Keep capturing those wonderful moments. And, I agree with your reply to A. Shepherdson that sometimes a fantastic shot just wanders in front of the camera! xoxo

And Banty Rooster? That’s a slam dunk try.

It seems to be a trend amongst a certain brand Of New Yorker to show disdain towards things that seem to go against the urban code, so to speak…

LOL still looks like a rat. I’d think people should be used to seeing others take pictures in New York. Lovely flowers. You had a fun week.

It was also the orchid show at the Chicago Botanic Garden this weekend. I wasn’t there but I saw some amazing pictures. Looks like a good week.

I saw the worst movie ever on Friday night. Not boring, but no redeeming features. Birds of Prey – don’t see it!

Omg we had brunch with friends today and they said same exact thing. They said they actually wanted to walk out
