Hi All! I’ve missed you! Hope everyone has been well!! After a little brain break, I am back to blogging. I am going to ease back into it though…don’t want to get too crazy. I’m starting with a review of my fall bucket list (I consider fall Labor Day to Thanksgiving)
These are the things I checked off my bucket list:
- Corn Maze (done- and in a family record time)
- Apple Picking (we got fewer apples this year, but they were tastiest apples ever)
- Pumpkin Spice Latte- check….yum….
- Cinnamon- yes I did- though not as a drink. I did an apple cinnamon thing which was delicious, which also takes care of the bake with apples thing
- Broadway Show- I wanted to see one, but managed to see three (Niceties, American Son and Lifespan of a Fact- all highly recommended)
- Movies- I wanted to see eight, and I saw eight (Widows, Instant Family, The Fantastic Beast movie, A Star is Born, Bohemian Rhapsody, Old Man and the Gun, First Man, Can You Ever Forgive me- I think I saw more but I’ll go with these)
- Books- eight books pledged and eight books read (Death of Mrs. Westaway, Nine Perfect Strangers, Lost for Words Bookshop, Living Forever Chic, Ghosted, One Day in December, Little Fires Everywhere, The story of Arthur Trulov + more)
- Ten new recipes- done and done
- Two live music performances (Goo Goo’s and Chamber Society of Lincoln Center)
Where I missed my mark:
I wanted to be more educated and worldly, but I did not attend a lecture or talk. The things I wanted to see were either sold out or at times that I was not able to attend. Here’s hoping….
Ok- tomorrow I will preview the Holiday Bucket list!
looks like you kept yourself out trouble.

I went with my daughter. We both really liked it. It’s not a deep movie, but it was well done, honest and real. And I admit I teamed up throughout it.

I love all movies and genres except horror. And I mean gory horror. I hate blood

Yeah I don’t like horror at all either. I like my sleep too much 😂

Welcome back! We saw Bohemian Rhapsody on Thanksgiving. I liked it. You’ve managed to get quite a lot checked off your list. I’m in awe and feel like a slug since I haven’t done much – but then again, I didn’t make myself a list so…

I did not like that Forever Chic book – I just found her really annoying, which is strange considering her extensive fashion magazine resume. But I’m just starting Shannon Able’s first book Living the Simply Luxurious Life and am enjoying it more – I guess it’s all in the writing! Plus she grabbed me in the intro when she said she was an introvert.

I thought some of the forever chic was good, but a lot of it was ridiculous. There were enough nuggets to get me through it, but I know what you mean. I’m going to start Shannon Abel’s second one soon

You saw more moves in the fall than I’ve seen in two years. Just sayin’.

🙂 Yes, a whole lot more. I am jealous of the movie thing because I want to go, and it’s like pulling teeth to get my husband to go.

I don’t usually go with my husband….he’s not crazy about movies like I am. I have a movie friend! We go on tuesdays when it cost 5$ to get in.

HI! Wanted to comment on your next post but I don’t see a place for that anymore, am I missing something? My husband and daughter made gingerbread cookies last night and they were delicious! Love the way it makes the house smell. I have an Etsy site and have some holiday cards for sale, just in case you were looking for some 🙂 I love watching Holiday movies while I wrap presents. Your list sounds so fun!
