I love fall. Wonderful season. Except that for some reason, fall always has social obligations, which I like, but I also don’t always like. And my mind has been in overdrive lately, so….I’m going to try to remember the positive….
- Being able to get a dinner reservation on short notice (there will actually be a post about this in the near future)
- being able to do something over (again- post about this to follow shortly)
- second chances
- friends who listen to you, have coffee with you, and take your side because they are friends
- tweezers
- clean refrigerator
- auto correct
- cup of tea before bed
- spicy food
- the smell of freshly washed laundry
- lavender
Lavender? Not apple and cinnamon, pumpkin spice? 😉🙃🍎🍏

Fall in Florida is a little cooler but the license plates change as more people from the great North arrive. Papers to correct and a house to myself today. Sipping coffee and about ready to bite the bullet and begin.

I like that as a line in a story…in Florida we don’t watch the leaves change color, we see the license plates change color….or something like that

Exactly! We watch the cars. In the Catskills, we watched the leafs falling outside our window.

Yay! I am with you on all of those points except for auto-correct, but I shall not elaborate. I go mad if I cannot find my tweezers (teenage daughter left them in her bedroom yet again) and I think we all take our refrigerators for granted. Great post and thanks for the reminder 🙂

I don’t have many of those fall social obligations that you’re talking about, But I do have to deal with house maintenance. most of my time during the weekend is dedicated to that.🙄

I specifically love in an apartment to keep maintenance at a minimum!

I think autocorrect belongs in the best loved and the most hated sides of the ledger. It has saved my tush and embarrassed me… sometimes in the same paragraph.

My problem is I type too fast (I know you have that issue) so what I type is really bizarre!

Yep, I’m thankful for all those things, too. And I would add “freshly laundered sheets.” There is nothing nicer than climbing into a bed with sheets fresh out of the dryer.
