I know fall doesn’t officially start for a few weeks, but in LALA land, fall begins the day after Labor Day and ends at Thanksgiving. So in honor of the tropical temperatures NYC is currently enjoying, here’s what I hope to do in the next few months.
- corn maze
- apple picking
- some sort of pumpkin beverage (yes- I am a cliché)
- some sort of cinnamon thing (Pure Wow says cinnamon is the new pumpkin)
- bake something with all the apples I’ll have from apple picking
- eat half the Kit Kat’s I buy for Halloween
- broadway show
- 8 movies
- 8 books
- 2 live music performances
- lecture or talk
- try 10 new recipes
Someone made a joke about keeping their pumpkin spice away from their margaritas. Lol.
Still stupid hot, but… It won’t last forever so I’ll take it. 🙄🍎🙃

That is great that you can eat half of the kit kats, I just reached part of my hard to earn goal weight of…I won’t tell…but there is no way I can eat chocolates unless it is no sugar. Good for you. NY in the fall is nice. The 10 new recipes will be keto or low carb friendly but I am losing: slowly but surely.

I tried a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino yesterday. The coffee taste was to strong for my liking but other than that it was good.

I’m not a coffee drinker either, but for some reason I’m ok with the pumpkin spice ones

The only way I like coffee is if it’s sweet. Like I have to put a lot of sugar in them.

I love cinnamon! Give us a heads up in the books and movies and maybe we can all watch and read them and discuss. Sounds like a great fall for you!

Cinnamon is a gift from heaven! I even use cinnamon toothpaste and cinnamon mouthwash. And don’t let me see a sign on the interstate advertising Cinnabon in the truck stop ahead because I will Mario Andretti my way through traffic to exit 😇

I just drove past our corn maze location recently and was thinking we need to go back. Maybe I can get the kids to come home one weekend to go with us.

I miss corn mazes. We had some doozies in Illinois, nary a sign of one in Florida.

They’re so much fun! I wonder what the Florida equivalent would be?

This is a great list! I am with you on cinnamon and apple anything is good with me! We don’t have trick-or-treaters here (no one is coming up my very long driveway for a KitKat) so I can’t even pretend I’m buying the candy for anyone but me.
* hello KitKats, peanut butter cups, and 100 Grand bars. *

And my favorite is to eat them with pretzels for the ultimate sweet/salty smooth/crunchy snack experience.
Yes, I take my snacks seriously!
