I’ve been thinking entirely too much lately…about romantic comedies…I love romantic comedies- if I were stuck on a desert island with only one Netflix genre to choose from, I would definitely choose them above all else. They make me laugh and they make me feel good- nothing more, nothing less.
So, in no particular order except the order in which they come to my mind:

- Four Weddings and a Funeral
- Say Anything (though comedy may not be the right word)

- Enough Said (don’t get me started on James Gandolfini)
- Some Like it Hot
- The Shop around the Corner
- You’ve Got Mail (or shop around the corner two)
- Roman Holiday
- The Big Sick
- Sleepless in Seattle
- How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
- The Holiday
- The Proposal
- My Best Friends Wedding (romantic? not sure)
- Love, Actually
- Pretty Woman (yeah- I know. I just don’t care)
- My Big Fat Greek Wedding
- Crazy, Rich, Asians

Oh Wow. That’s an awesome list to choose from for the weekend. I haven’t watched a couple of them. Can you add Before Sunrise and Before Sunset to that list… I can watch it a 100 times. 🙂

Love The Philadelphia Story, which also stars Jimmy Stewart. I’m a sucker for his goofy charm.
One of my favorite romantic movies of all time, but not a rom com is An Affair to Remember with Deborah Kerr and Cary Grant. I cry every time.
