Here are some pictures from my April trip to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. I was there for the Cherry Blossom Festival, but alas, the cherry blossoms were not as luxurious as usual. But a day amongst the flowers is always better than a day doing anything else.

Very pretty. I agree. Sometimes I will walk through the greenhouse closest to me. It cures my winter blahs and gives me a different perspective.

The cherry blossoms might have been disappointing but the other flowers are certainly beautiful. The magnolias, especially, with their prolific flowers are splendid.

I LOVE Brooklyn’s garden. I used to spend a lot of time there when my kids were young. Such amazing beauty in the middle of the city!
