Ok- You all  by now that pneumonia ruled the days.  But I had tickets to two things, and something I love, so…

What I Read- I read very little considering how much time I spent on my couch…

  1. “Two Steps Forward” Graeme Simsion
  2. “A Nantucket Wedding” Nancy Thayer
  3. “Other People’s Houses” Abbi Waxman
  4. “By the Book” Julia Sonneborn
  5. “The Wedding Date” Jasmine Guillory

What I Watched- OK- this was more than usual

  1. Father Brown Mysteries – at some point I fell asleep while watching this to find that two characters I liked were no longer on the show.  Felt their loss and wanted to know how they wrote them out but didn’t care enough to go back to find out
  2. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
  3. Grace and Frankie
  4. Columbo reruns
  5. Murder She Wrote reruns
  6. Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth version)

What I Saw- previously purchased tickets

  1. “Rocktopia”- Broadway.  Classic rock performed by an orchestra.  How was I not going to like this?
  2. “Avengers: Infinity War” Yeah- it was fun

What I went to- a yearly tradition

  1. Sakura Matsuri- cherry blossom festival at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

College Stuff-

  1. Info session on Washington University St. Louis.  My daughter was very impressed with this school.  So was I.

And of course – my Father’s 80th birthday dinner.

Hoping to get back into the swing of things.  I cancelled many plans with friends the past few weeks, so this week is going to be a lot of rescheduling!!!  Also planning summer trip.  Good times…

    1. Thank you! It’s slow going (both on purpose and realistically….I still tire easily)
This summer, it’s going to be a little south and a little mid west. Good schools. Less New Yorkers. Win win…

  1. Father brown series does get a bit boring somewhere in between. I haven’t watched the TV series, but I have fallen asleep a lot of times while reading the books. 😉
Hope you are all fine now. 🙂

      1. Yep. Some stories are really good, the others are just eh. I am currently reading the whole set of stories by J S Fletcher. 🙂
Glad to know that you are recovering. 🌹🌹
