This was a tough week to find gratitude.  I found myself cranky and out of sorts.  But here are some of the things I found on the bright side.

  1. Villanova basketball
  2. Hot tea on cold, blustery days
  3. Subways being on time when I’m running late
  4. Lavender Epsom Salts
  5. Afternoon Tea with my Tea Society
  6. My decision to take three deep breaths
  7. The use of blog as journal to unload my thoughts

  1. I love the idea of setting aside one day a week to practice gratitude 😊 I do this on Instagram but have not thought about adding a blog component, as usual you have me thinking my friend 💕

  2. Love the hot tea when you get no sympathy from the world at times and as for running late, and not needing to turn on the car engine but instead take a subway…yay…that would work for me. I am taking 3 deep breaths as spring vacation draws to a close .

  3. My wife is a Villanova grad and she often refers to it as “Villa-nowhere” because the alumni don’t seem to be as active and passionate as other schools like Penn State. We love Villanova basket ball, though, and can’t wait for the tournament!

Sorry to hear you had a crummy week. Those can be tough. When I read this, I thought of a great play called “Every Brilliant Thing” by Johnny Donahoe. I’m not getting paid for pushing it and it’s a bit of an intense play. But it is an interesting one and something I try to remember on those difficult weeks.

I like that you made a gratitude list. I know it’s something which would be beneficial to do more often. It’s a good list. Reminds me of the “My Favorite Things” song by Julie Andrews.

I hope this week goes better!
